It's a pure mobile game, available for free on both Android via the Google Play Store and iOS on the App Store. First launched back in 2016, it's built up a massive following with over 100 million downloads on Google Play alone. The core game is completely free to download, install, and play. You'll encounter in-app ads, but they're usually optional video rewards for extra coins or parts. The main monetization comes from in-game purchases for the game's premium currency, gems, which can cost anywhere from a couple of dollars for a small pack up to around $100 for the largest bundles. These are mostly used to speed up progress or buy special vehicle parts, but you can earn everything through gameplay.
